Traditional Helter Skelter
The name Helter Skelter was first used at the Famous Hull Fair in 1905. There are two types of Helter Skelter, the smaller square slip and the larger light house style. Both built by Super Cars of Warwick who also built most of the traditional style Dodgems.
The Square Helter Skelters have all been trailer mounted and use hydraulics to raise the tower cutting set up times and labour. However you still need a skilled and trained man to put the chutes around.
The Light House style Helter Skelters have come back in to vogue at large events again. No longer cost effective to set up at small events. They are a great land mark attraction and have been popular at Summer Beach events and Winter Wonderlands.
If you'd like to book Helter Skelter for your event, we'd love to hear from you!
